In Character follows Eli, a waiter whose obsessive dedication to “performance” turns a quiet dinner service into an increasingly tense psychological game. What begins as an eccentric, poetic, and strangely theatrical service to a couple on a first date slowly shifts into something more unsettling.

As Eli’s behavior escalates, fragile egos are exposed, roles begin to reverse, and subtle power struggles unfold at the table. Throughout the dinner, the line between performance and reality grows thinner—until it becomes unclear whether Eli is improvising a character… or revealing his true self.

By the end of the night, one thing is certain:
